- August 19 & 20, 2024
- Djeuga Hotel, Yaoundé
- Concept note
Think tanks play a crucial role in producing high-quality research to inform public policy, amplifying the voices of key opinion leaders and civil society through open debates, public events, and advocacy campaigns. They promote the rule of law, respect for fundamental human rights, inclusive and sustainable conflict resolution, and more.
However, the ECCAS region has few reputable and resilient independent think tanks creating significant impact.
  Objectives of the program
- Strengthen the strategic management capacity of think tanks to produce high-quality research and influence policy, enhancing democracy and governance.
- Enhance the leadership and research capacity of think tank researchers, with a particular focus on women, to conduct research and policy advocacy.
