The Denis & Lenora Foretia Foundation is delighted to announce the selection of 20 exceptional young Cameroonians for the 2024 Emerging Leaders Program. This cohort represents a diverse group of talented individuals under 35 who have demonstrated remarkable leadership skills and a strong commitment to driving positive change in Cameroon.
Selected from a competitive pool of applicants, these emerging leaders have shown experience in team leadership, a deep understanding of Cameroon’s history and geopolitical complexity, and a proven track record in community engagement.
Program Highlights:
- A 3-day immersion in policy and public service in Yaoundé (August 18-20, 2024)
- Participation in group projects to organize events promoting economic freedom, peace, security, and democratic culture
- Production of policy-focused op-eds to be published by the Nkafu Policy Institute
- Participation in the 2024 Central Africa Think Tank Forum
- One-year affiliation with the Nkafu Policy Institute
