In February 2023, a team of researchers from the Nkafu Policy Institute paid a courtesy visit to Prince kumA Ndume of Douala in the Littoral region. This was to better understand pre-colonial intra-African trade in the area that makes up modern-day Cameroon and its neighboring countries.
