Zrinka Janota

Ms Zrinka Janota is currently a Junior Adviser with a regional programme of GIZ, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) called Knowledge for Transformation (K4T). K4T seeks to support the knowledge-to-policy uptake on economic transformation in Africa. In her role, Ms Janota is responsible for the communication of the project and for supporting knowledge transfer between the think tank partners and BMZ. Previously, she has worked in two other programs of GIZ, where she advised the BMZ on promoting good governance and strengthening human rights in development cooperation. Ms Janota also worked as a research assistant for the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt. She holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin. She speaks English and French and is passionate about evidence-based transformation, social cohesion, and educational equality.
