Pamla Gopaul
Programme Officer – Data Analyst, AUDA NEPAD
Ms. Pamla Gopaul is the Unit Lead for Economic Analysis and Foresight and lead coordinator of the Policy Bridge Tank Programme at AUDA-NEPAD in South Africa. The programme aims to engage African Think Tanks to address challenges through evidence-based policy and knowledge services to advance the attainment of Agenda 2063. Ms. Gopaul is a policy and development practitioner equipped with areas of expertise in strategic planning and development transformation processes.
Her previous positions include Senior Policy Officer to the CEO and Senior Programme Officer on Strategic Initiatives. Ms Gopaul has more than 15 years of experience in strategic planning and development transformation processes. She is an expert at leveraging Regional and Continental evidence-based knowledge for effective programme implementation. She manages the Effective Institutions platform, a peer-to-peer learning and sharing platform and supports the Agency’s program and project implementation through evidence and research-based content.
