Dr. Barnabe Okouda

Barnabé Okouda is a Statistical Engineer who has worked since 2014 as Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Research on Economic and Social Policies of Cameroon (Camercap-Parc), where he coordinated the realization of numerous works. Before that, he was Deputy Director of Studies and Statistical Standardization at the INS of Cameroon. He was also a member of the Technical Secretariat of the Technical Committee for Monitoring and Evaluation of PRSP and MDG implementation (CTSE) in Cameroon, and responsible for coordinating the development of monitoring and evaluation indicators. He graduated from the Institut Sous Régional de la Statistique et d’Economie Appliquée (ISSEA) Yaoundé in 1990; from the Centre de Formation des Statisticiens Économistes et Démographes CESD, Munich in 1994. He also holds a DESS in Economic Policy Management from the University of Yaoundé. Barnabé Okouda has been vice-president of the Commonwealth Association of Statisticians since February 2012. He also collaborates with numerous institutions such as the UNDP, the African Union, ACBF, MINFI and MINEPAT Cameroon on work in the field of Economic and Social Policy Analysis and Evaluation.
