Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief of Staff to join our leadership team. The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in supporting the Co-Chair in executing the Foundation’s strategic initiatives and ensuring efficiency. This is a high-impact role that requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with exceptional leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Collaborate with the Co-Chair and senior leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans.
    • Monitor progress towards strategic goals and provide regular updates to the Co-Chair.
  2. Leadership Support:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Co-Chair, providing insights and recommendations.
    • Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments and teams.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for the Co-Chair.
    • Manage key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government officials.
    • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities and ensure timely follow-up.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior management role, preferably within the nonprofit sector. Experience working with nonprofit organizations, foundations or in the areas of social entrepreneurship, public health, or policy development is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
    • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
    • Bilingual fluency in English and French
    • Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
