Eugene Arnaud Yombo Sembe is an Analyst with the Governance and Democracy Initiative at the Nkafu Policy Institute. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Yaoundé II, Department of Political Science and working on a thesis titled : “Secession as state creation process. Comparative analysis of Erythrea and Southern Sudan”. He holds a Masters in political science (University of Yaounde II) and another Masters in Governance (Panafrican University Institute of Governance, Humanities and Social Sciences). He has published more than ten articles related to the domains of Governance, Politics and International Relations like in elections, migrations, geopolitics, geostrategy, conflict management and public policy. He previously was an associate researcher at the Paul Ango Ela Foundation in Yaoundé.
